Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find the actual sales page for the automated wealth system however as there seem to be quite a number of people searching for it I decided to do some research.

My findings so far have uncovered Ryan Jackson’s automated wealth system which is apparently not a real name but an alias. I also found Brent Austin’s automated wealth system.

The domain automatedwealthsystem.com is parked so no luck finding any information there. However I did find automatedwealthsytempro.com which appears to be another system altogether.

First I am just going to say that I haven’t tried any of these systems nor do I intend to so I am hoping people who have used any of the systems mentioned will provide their own feedback.

Ryan Jackson’s Automated Wealth System Review

From my research it appears this is a rather typical make money online opportunity. A lot of people are quick to run to the rooftops and shout scam. I’m not saying that it is or it isn’t, as like I said I haven’t tried it myself, however I’m usually not so flippant with the word scam.

Generally a lot of these systems do actually work however the work and money involved is usually a lot more than the sales letter lets on. Also a lot of the information that is taught can usually be found freely on the net. Go to a forum such as the Warrior Forum and you will find more information there than 99% of the internet marketing courses out there for free.

Apparently with Ryan Jackson’s Automated Wealth System the initial fee which I believe is $75 will give you basic access the to system. I am assuming this will provide you with a prebuilt site which lists a bunch of ClickBank www.clickbank.com products. No doubt there will also be a whole lot of standard marketing techniques such as PPC, article marketing, social media, blogging and so on to drive traffic to your site.

Once you are in it sounds like there is a rather hefty up-sell of $4,000 to receive private or one on one mentoring. This is beyond most peoples budgets and I would urge you not to go maxing out your credit card with the hope that you will make it back. Never spend money you don’t have on a pipe dream, no matter how good the deal sounds. Making money online doesn’t have to be the same as gambling, it’s about absorbing as much free information as you can and testing ideas. The only thing it should cost you is time and perhaps the odd tool which will save you some time.

Brent Austin’s Automated Wealth System Review

I probably wouldn’t be far off in assuming that Brent Austin’s system is probably not a lot different than Ryan Jackson’s. In fact there are probably hundreds if not thousands of other systems which are very similar. The reason being is because the make money online market is so lucrative.

Let me explain why automated wealth systems are not as “automated” or profitable as you might think. To make money online you need to learn how to generate traffic. Generating quality traffic is not easy and is becoming more and more difficult to obtain. Generally speaking there are two main ways to drive quality traffic, either free (organic traffic) from the search engines or paid traffic from pay per click networks.

Lets start with free organic traffic from the search engines. If ten thousand people all have the same cookie cutter website optimized for the same keywords only a handful of those sites are actually going to rank in the search engines, It’s as simple as that. Not only that but the majority of the keywords will be reasonably competitive to begin with and require a decent amount of link building to rank for which may take months or even years.

So the steps required would be too
- Do keyword research on your site for each product
- Rewrite all of your content to make it unique and target less competitive long tail keywords
- Implement a solid, long term link building and content strategy

Now that doesn’t sound too automated to me? You could outsource this work for sure, however you need to learn how it works for yourself first. Also most people starting out can’t afford to outsource and even if you did outsource you still need to set up the training and manage your outsources which can be time consuming at first.

I probably wouldn’t be too far off in saying that probably 9 out of 10 of the most successful marketers online primarily use pay per click or one of the paid traffic methods to generate the majority of their income. However these paid traffic methods introduce a whole new set of challenges. The newbie can get burnt really bad, really quick. It takes a lot of testing, money and time to make money with PPC. Generating the traffic is easy however achieving a positive ROI is not so easy.

My advice is to stick with the free search engine traffic until you gain some experience and have generated some income. You can then reinvest that money into PPC, PPV, etc.

A lot of people ask the same question “If the system works so well why are they not just using it themselves instead of teaching other people how to use it”. The answer is quite simple, affiliate marketing is not as scalable as you would be lead to believe. It’s also quite a fragile business model as anything could happen to wipe out your entire income and it happens all the time. Generally most marketers are reliant on a single traffic source, usually Google. If Google doesn’t like what you are doing they won’t hesitate in penalizing your sites and unless you cover you tracks Google can easily investigate every site you own.

There is also a ceiling within each market and the higher the ceiling the more cutthroat the competition. So whichever road you take requires a considerable amount of work. If you go after the less competitive niche markets you will need a considerable amount of sites which can take time to build and manage and can be very vulnerable. If you go after the big money markets you’ll be spending a lot of time and money on link building and/or advertising and constantly be struggling to stay ahead of the competition.

If you are anything like me you tend to start getting caught up in the hype of this method or that and over complicate things. A perfect example of this is a thread over at the warrior forum about a fellow warrior who funnily enough blocked out all of the noise currently circulating around various internet marketing circles and going back to the basics.

Adsense was a gold rush for a lot of internet marketers in it’s early adoption however Google had to make several changes to improve the quality of traffic which resulted in a lot less profits for publishers. This was when phrases like “Adsense is dead” and “life after Adsense” were really common buzz words which no doubt you have come across on numerous occasions.

The strategy seemed to become less sites which offered greater quality content and a shift to promoting affiliate products and services and CPA opportunities. However the said warrior member recently went against the grain and adopted the following strategy.

1. More sites focusing on tightly themed niches or micro niches

2. Focus on popular products which can be found on sites such as Amazon, Ebay and Walmart (more likely to receive a greater RPC)

3. Greater emphasis on low competition keywords which have decent levels of traffic

4. Some of his greatest earners are sites with less than 30 pages, some sites with only one page are making $2-$3 a day

5. Builds 4-5 sies at a time and gets them ranking within a week

6. Content is always product descriptions

7. Relies exclusively on article marketing purely for back links

8. Occasionally ranks in the top 5 for keywords with no back links

9. Achieves up to a 75% click through rate

Just to add my 2 cents, the main key here which I believe is still rather under utilized is going after the low hanging fruit. It’s so tempting to go after that keyword which gets 500 to 1,000 searches a day rather than focus on the one which gets 50 – 100. You will have to do far less work to rank for those long tail keywords and spend more time building sites rather than building back links.

Also make sure your sites aren’t spammy, create good quality content which adds value for your visitors otherwise you may find your sites don’t hang around for long in the SE’s.

I am going to put this method to the test and see what sort of results I can come up with

This is now the third thirty day challenge which I have blogged about. This year as I have been extremely busy with the day job I wasn’t able to participate in and blog about as it progressed, in fact it just finished at the end of August. However the team always leave everything up until the next thirty day challenge so you can always access the material at any time.

For those not sure what the 30 day challenge is it is simply a 30 day crash course on making your first dollar online. If you can make $1 there is no reason why you can’t replicate the process to earn $100, $1000, $10,000, etc. In fact I think you will be surprised how easy it is to make $1 online, the real challenge is maintaining the discipline to keep growing and promoting your sites. Making money online may not be rocket science but it does take a fair amount of dedication and repetition.

The thirty day challenge focuses on the most popular and accessible way to make money online, affiliate marketing, and is primarily aimed at beginners, however I always find a few gems which I believe also makes it worthwhile for more experienced marketers.

There are a ton of videos this year (over 100 I believe) to digest so hopefully by following my blog you will be able to save some time and skip the ones on topics which you are already comfortable with.

You can access all of the videos here http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/training/

So lets get into it!

Thirty Day Challenge Introduction

Ed Dale (30 Day Challenge mastermind) discusses workload and how to tackle the thirty day challenge. Mainly common sense applies, don’t try and digest too much info at once, take bit sized chunks and take your time. Patience is definitely a virtue when it comes to internet marketing!

If technology is not your biggest strength then there is extensive information on what tools are required and how to use them in the preseason build up (scroll to the bottom of the page).

A Magnificent Symphony In Four Parts

If you are familiar with the 30DC (thirty day challenge) you will already be familiar with Ed’s “magnificent symphony in four parts”.

The four parts being:

Market Research: There is virtually endless amounts of niche markets which can be explored and in later videos the 30DC team will show you some powerful ways to find niche markets which are virtually guaranteed to be profitable.

Traffic: This one is a no brainer and there are some tools which will be showcased to easily find keywords which have traffic.

Conversion: Getting traffic is one thing however if people are not in purchase mode i.e. have a problem for which you have a solution.

Competition: Obviously you want to make the process as easy as possible so you will learn how to identify keywords which you can easily rank for. Probably one of the biggest mistakes people make is going after keywords which are far to competitive.

Finding a Niche Part 1

One of Ed’s side kicks, Dan Raine, discusses techniques on finding a nice.

Tip #1: Carry a notebook to take down ideas. You never know when you might have stumble across a great idea so it pays to get them down on paper. If you have an iPhone then make the most of it!

Tip #2: For beginners take on a niche which you are interested in and passionate about. This makes it much easier to create content on and trust me, the more content you can create the greater your chance of success. Providing it’s useful, good quality content of course!

Tip #3: Magazines can be the best source for finding niche ideas. Not only magazines themselves but take a look at what people are advertising within the magazine.

Tip #4: Target a micro niche. A micro niche is a niche inside a niche, these are a great way to enter into a market with the least amount of effort. Once you dominate a micro niche you can target other micro niches in the same niche and eventually go after the niche itself.

By targeting all of the micro niches within a particular niche over time you will find you actually start to rank in the search engines for the niche itself, effectively killing two birds with one stone.

My explanation of a micro niche
Market: Guitar
Niche: How to Play the Guitar
Micro-Niche: How to Play the Bass Guitar

Drill down into a niche as far as possible starting from the bottom and work your way up. Your odds of being successful will be greatly improved if you follow this advice.

Finding a Niche Part 2

Finding a Niche Part 3

A data entry opportunity scam can target you in many ways. Sometimes you fill out something thinking it is something else and you are actually adding your name to a mailing list. Data entry job scam artists will purchase that list and start to target you in their emails. Once you are on their list, be ready to receive a load of information.

Data entry business scams use Craigslist, or similar sites, to locate people. They are listed among jobs that are legitimate. They will list a city and possibly a smaller city near there. Once you send your CV over, you find that there isn’t a job at all but a mailing list. The list will be sold more than once as they do not care how many mailings you receive.

When looking at a job on Craigslist, keep this in mind:

Information contained in the posting has no city information. A job posting will give the part of town the job is located in. Job posting employers give the part of town to save your time and theirs by applying for a job too far away from home. They know that when they do contact you as a candidate, you will want to know. Data entry job scams have someone posting the jobs that do not live in the city so they can’t give that information.

There is no way to reach them. When you send in your resume, you want to have someone to follow up with. Even if the company is not listed on the posting, it will give you a person’s name or title. A data entry job scam may just have job information and nothing else.

When can you begin? Data entry job scams will say no start date or that they need you like yesterday. They cater to people who really need a job, but most companies know you give notice to your current employer beforehand. They want you to give your current employer notice. That is the right thing to do for any real companies and they will expect it from their current employees who decide to leave.

The job posting will sound great and you will feel as though the job was made for you. In today’s economy, there are a lot of people who need jobs. The data entry opportunity scams sound impressive when you read them. The job will seem very positive and you will see yourself in that new position. You will be so excited that you will get your CV together and send it to them right away. You will guess that they got your resume first and based on your experience will pick you over anyone else. This type of posting gives false hope to the person who applies. As soon as you submitted your email, they are adding you to a list to begin sending you opportunities that are actually scams.

Have you considered obtaining an online typing business from home? If you do your research you will discover that there is a lot of work available in this field. Do you have experience as a secretary either currently or in the past? If you have worked in this role before, you can use those skills you have already learned. The best thing is that you will be working for yourself.

You will be responsible for your own business. Internet typing jobs from home make a varied amount of income. If part time hours work better for you, that’s perfectly OK. Later on when you need more work, just let the company know. Typing jobs cover all types of typing. A lot of the typing jobs require you to be very accurate.

Online typing jobs from home can be quickly set up; all you need is to decide when you would like to work. If you work better in the morning when it is quiet, you can do so. You choose what is convenient for you and your family. If you are taking college courses, you can actually do your internet typing jobs and school classes with no problem. If you have little ones, you may decide to work while they are sleeping or when your partner can watch them while you steal away for a few hours to work. Work together with your family to decide what timeframe is best for everyone without wearing you too thin.

Online typing jobs from home give you a life. All of the time you have missed before will seem to disappear. Make the parent-teacher conferences during the day without a care to what time they are scheduled. There were probably plenty of things that you couldn’t do before because you had to work set hours. You will probably try to forget how many hours you worked for your previous employer with a small amount of pay. You received raises but you still felt like you were just getting by. Because you work so many hours, there is no time for a part time job to add to your income. An internet typing business from home will help you realize your money goals. Add additional hours when you need extra money and then return to your normal hours. Work on your typing jobs ahead of a holiday to make sure it’s complete or take along for downtime at the beach.

Internet typing jobs from home are not stressful. Set yourself up with deadlines that are easy to reach, there will not be someone asking you when it is done. Being in business for yourself does mean that you communicate with the project manager and you will establish a good working relationship. You won’t need to ask what to do. You don’t have to check in or ask permission. You know how to type and you understand the assignment, so you get to work. Relaxation will become part of your equation. An online typing business from home helps you leave the job in its place and not have it come into your family life. Once work is done, your focus is where it needs to be and that is on your family. There will be no reason to think about the projects until its time to return to it again.

Are you working in Corporate America? It’s probably hard to get up and go to work every morning when you are making someone else money. It’s not that you don’t want to do well, but all the commute is taking its toll and you are not as enthused as you once were. An online data entry job from home can get you motivated like you were in the beginning and the best part is that you are working for yourself.

It’s easy to be creative when you work for yourself. There are many different jobs that are available when you work from home. Make sure you look into your options. Once you begin to look into it, online data entry jobs seem very perfect for you. You know how to enter information into a computer and you have always had great quality. Now you can do what you know from home and you are anxious to get started.

You can go to work in sweat pants and a sweat shirt if you want to. You won’t see any of your customers so it’s ok to wear whatever you want to. Set up your home office and computer and you are ready to go. If the weather is bad rainy or cold outside, it won’t matter to you because you won’t have to deal with it. Set up your work arrangement to be daily or weekly depending on what works for you.

Most often you will work during the week, but it is also possible to work weekends if that works better for your family situation. If you have an appointment at your child’s school, just let the project manager know at least two weeks ahead of time or you can just move the work around so you can do what you need to do. You won’t have to take time off for doctor’s appointments, just schedule them when you want to. Work early mornings or late nights to give you full daylight to make your appointments during the day.

Online data entry jobs from home will work well with any schedule. The fact that you can spend more time with children or family is a plus. Gas prices are high so you can save money by being at home. If they increase the prices of gas, you won’t be concerned. Use the car to go to the store or the mall and not for highway traveling to work. Decide on how you want your day to be. What time of the day are you most productive? If the night works better for you, then do the work at night.

At first give yourself more than enough time to complete the work. After awhile you will get more used to it and then you can adjust as needed. You may be able to do it faster once you have had more practice. Never be late with a task so the project manager will know that he or she can count on you to get the job done.

I am a strong advocate of never complaining when something is free and I find it humorous when people complain about free tools or training. However the 30 Day Challenge this year really seems to be about promoting Market Samurai and WordPress Direct.

Another tip on Adwords is to run two separate ad groups one for the search network and one for the content network, the reason being is that your CTR for the content network will be extremely low which in turn will ruin your search network CTR.

Also make sure you keep your keyword groups very tight,

Today GuruBob goes over how to find keywords for your Adwords campaigns using Market Samurai. There is another video going over a little more detail about running your campaigns. Again as I mentioned yesterday these really aren\’t the best video tutorials on Adwords around but they give you a rough idea of how it works.

Visit www.perrymarshall.com for a more in depth and accurate course on Google Adwords.

Finding Keywords For Your Adwords Campaign

Add Keywords To Your Adwords Campaign

Points to not from this video are that when split testing you do not need to switch an ad on or off to ensure the best ad is displayed as mentioned in the video as Google automatically displays the ad which has the highest CTR. You simply need to add as many ads as possible and Google will do the rest.

Also mentioned in the video is to simply add the broad, phrase and exact match of your keyword however that is not necessarily going to give the best results. If you have your keyword entered as broad match then Google will display it for keywords which it believes are related to your keyword which may not convert well therefore it\’s best to start off with exact match first and then try phrase and broad match if you have success.

Day 20 of the 30 Day Challenge is an introduction to setting up a Google Adwords Account. Probably not the best introduction to Adwords on the internet however it is pretty difficult to go into much detail in a 15 minute video as Adwords is quite a complex system.

I would recommend spending additional time learning about the nuts and bolts of Adwords rather than just jumping right in because it is important to do it the right way otherwise you will find yourself spending money on keywords which aren\’t going to convert and also paying too much per click.

The best advice I can provide in regards to Adwords is to start off with a small budget and keep your keywords highly targeted. The more targeted the keywords are to your niche the more likely you are to generate a sale. If you are successful with your highly targeted keywords then you can start to experiment with broader keywords.

One of the leading experts in running successful Google Adwords Campaigns is Perry Marshall. He has a free 5 day course on his site www.perrymarshall.com

Today is all about deciding whether or not you want to continue with your niche or not. It’s a pretty simple decision, if you have achieved good rankings, i.e. in the top 5 and you are not getting traffic then it’s time to go back to the drawing board. Ed makes a very good point and that is not to be discouraged by a niche that hasn’t worked out just think of it as a step closer to the one that will. The more you go through the process the better you will get at locating profitable niches.

If you are getting traffic and not making any sales then again it is time to go back to the drawing board. I would look at reasons why I am not making any sales and try a few things first before giving up on that particular niche. At least one sale for every two to three hundred visitors is something you should aim for.

Not much a happened on day 17, just a quick video showing how to check your rankings. The method shown is actually just to type in the keyword you are targeting and go through the SERP’s (search engine result pages).

There are actually much easier ways to do this, there are several free tools on the net which can find out this for you. One is www.seomoz.org/rank-checker

For serious internet marketers you will eventually have dozens if not hundreds of keywords that you want to keep track on and using the above method of checking one at a time is just simply not an option as it would take too long.

A tool I use to monitor my rankings for all of my keywords for my many sites is called SEO Elite.

Continuing the process of submitting content, today the site is www.ezinearticles.com. Ezine Articles is an article directory which is well known as being the best directory on the net. Articles on Ezine Articles rank extremely well in Google and because of this back links to your site are highly valuable for your own sites rankings.

Article marketing is one of the most widely used techniques to drive direct traffic and build links. There are literally thousands of article directories on the internet so there is a lot of potential to obtain a heap of back links. You can submit your articles manually or you can use article submission services which automatically submit your articles for you.

The top 3 article distribution services are

1. Unique Article Wizard

2. Article Marketer

3. iSnare

If you are anything like me you are probably starting to find all of this content creation time consuming and tedious. Luckily there are many affordable “ghost writers” who will write articles for you on virtually any topic. You can find writers on www.guru.com and www.elance.com

Another tool which creates articles for you is called Instant Article Wizard which you can find out more about here www.instantarticlewizardpro.com

If you are wondering what happened to day 14 it seems to have been pulled from the thirty day challenge. I believe day 14 was about setting up a Tumblr blog but unfortunately we seem to have had a deja vu from last year where Tumblr deleted everyone’s blogs. Because sites like Tumblr and the many other hosted blogging and site building systems are subject to spam they can have very strict guidelines. In the case of Tumblr they do not want people to be using their service as a marketing tool therefore it’s best to ignore their service and move on, there are so many alternatives that it isn’t a big deal.

Day 15 is about setting up a Weebly site. You will start to see over the next few days that it’s all about putting up as much content as possible all over the internet pointing to your own site. By putting content on well established “authority” sites and linking to your own site you are building a lot of trust with the search engines therefore improving your rankings.

Day 13 is another relatively short day but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be doing anything. Every chance you get you should be researching your market and creating unique content on your blogs, Squidoo lenses, HubPages or wherever and then bookmarking your content.

Ed just does a quick overview of Google Analytics and how you can monitor your traffic. Google Analytics can tell you a wealth of information and is an extremely powerful tool. The best way to learn how to use it is just to spend time pushing all the buttons and seeing what they all do. Some of the important things you will want to look at is the search traffic data and what keywords people are typing in to the search engines to find your site.

Think about this, if you are getting traffic for a particular keyword and you are ranking say 26 imagine what would happen if you managed to rank in the top 10 considering only 2% of people click on the second page of results.

A good idea is to check the sites ranking above you for those keywords using the SEO tool for Firefox and determine if you think you can outrank them. Look for sites no older than 3 years with few back links as they will be easy to out rank.

If you aren’t receiving traffic and your site is indexed then you may need to re-evaluate your keyword and target something with less competition. The worst thing you can do is keep promoting a keyword which isn’t performing. Don’t be afraid to go back to the drawing board and start your market research again.

If your site isn’t indexed then you need to get more back links, it’s as simple as that. Building a Squidoo lens and social bookmarking it should get your site indexed in 24 – 48 hours max.

Today is basically the same as yesterday however this time you will be creating HubPages www.hubpages.com rather than Squidoo lenses. They both work in a similar fashion however you have to keep links to a minimum on HubPages as they have more stricter policies to stop spamming. Do not use the same content as you used on your Squidoo lens, make sure you rewrite it so that they are unique. This will ensure that both your Squidoo lenses and HubPages will rank well in the search engines.

Don’t forget to social bookmark all of your content!

Squidoo www.squidoo.com is a great place to create content and build links to your own sites, you should also get a fair amount of direct traffic. You should really try and create as many lenses and/or groups as you can making sure they are of good quality. You can also add your blogs RSS feed to your lens which is a great way to make sure your new posts get indexed nice and quickly.

They key is to make sure you optimize your lens your your chosen keywords in the lens title, lens URL and scattered throughout the lens. The more info you can add to your lens(es) the more traffic pulling potential it has and the more likely other Squidoo lensmasters are to link to it.

Also make sure you use the maximum number of tags which I believe is about 40, as each tag you use creates a back link to your lens from the Squidoo tags pages.

GuruBob also shows today how to find content on your niche using Market Samurai. The find content option of Market Samurai has a pretty cool feature which creates an RSS feed of content pulled from a large variety of sources which you can add to your Squidoo Lens.
